What Are Digital Events?
With incorporating digital technologies in your event, you can experience an event remotely as though you are there in person. With check-ins, break times,
coffee, lunch and face-2-face meetings, a participant will experience your event as usual!
Data is probably the most significant advantage of holding a digital
event over a physical event. If you have the right technology, you can capture your audience's behavior and interactions in ways you could never do at a physical event. And you can use that information to create relevant conversations with the right people when the event is over.
Delegate Management Systems | Live Streaming | Mobile Event Apps | Projection Mapping etc are some very popular digital event technologies and the events which integrated these digital technologies effectively are called as digital events.
What Are Virtual Events?
A virtual event is an online event that involves people interacting in a virtual environment on the web, rather than meeting in a physical location. Virtual events are multi-session online events that often feature webinars and webcasts.
Virtual events are used by companies to deliver presentations, training, tradeshows, expos, internal meetings and employees engagement programs etc.
"Virtual Event" can also refer to aspects of an event that are brought to users through an online experience.
This can range from live-streaming the event online called "Real Time Events" to creating On-Demand Video content
for users to view after the conclusion of the event called "Digital Contents or Deferred Contents"
What Are Hybrid Events ?
A hybrid event is a conference, training, seminar, employees engagement, town hall programs etc that combines a “live” in-person event at a physical location combined with “virtual” online component for remote attendees. i.e. A hybrid event is any event that includes both on-site & on-line components.
This could be anything from a conference taking place at physical location that includes live participation on social channels such as facebook live to a on-site product launch that live-streams online, showcasing the launch simultaneously.
